Default screw clamp instead of crimp ok?

When i installed my new diverter valve today, i could not find a crimp clamp to clamp to top hose down.. so instead i used a screw clamp like on the other hose and tightened the shet out of it.

Will this be ok instead of the regular crimp?

Default Sure will. I replace the clip clamp with screw style as needed

That or zip tie the SOB, lol.

Default the problems with screw clamps are that they don't apply pressure evenly and dig into the hose.

I use fuel hose clamps, which are smooth and the bolt pulls the clamp to be smaller to apply pressure more evenly.

IIRC, it's size #4 for the smaller vac lines.

Why would that matter? I use zip ties right next to the intake manifold.
