from the bad bearing any time the car is in motion.
One thing I noticed when my front right bearing went bad: the noise went away when I made a left turn (I think) since that bearing was under load.
Hope this helps.

The sound isn't that bad.. Almost like there is an intermittant throbbing sensation... and it feels like there is a grinding when I go in to lowspeed turns.. I was considering replacing the bearings, CV joints and half shaft just for good measure with the milage that I'm accruing... I still need to put the car up in jack stands and wiggle the wheel around to check for play.
Thanks for the input!

When I turn it sounds and feels a bit like a grinding stone at work...made me think maybe there could be a problem with the Torsen..??? But now I've notice a bit of a clunk over small bumps.
