Default What I think your friend did was try to reposition just 1 wiper. Have him do both.

If his relay is the same as the 2000's then he can have mine for free. Relay *389

Default If it's the motor which it sounds like it isn't then I have one of them too.

I have a 4 pin one. He might need a 5 pin though.
Gotta a plane to fly but curious to know what it turned out to be. Let us know.

He did both. Still park too high on the glass and sweep below the park position.

Default Just stop this madness. 4D4 already told you the fix. Loosen the nut that holds the drive...

.. arm onto the motor, then move BOTH wipers into their proper park spot (without loosening them from their posts), and then tighten the drive arm to the motor..

Default That's a lot of work. He'd have to take out the linkage. That is a PITA.

I don't think all that is needed. By the way. How did the problem originaly start. Did they one day just decide to park 5 inches higher or did he or someone mess with it?

Default That makes sense. I didn't really see any adjustment in the linkage, but perhaps....

...the linkage just needs to be reseated on the motor.

Moving the wipers on the perches is defintately NOT the answer.

Default The problem, illustrated.

4Driver4 and Kris have already provided a solution, but this is mainly for Joao.

This is the current situation. With orange-to-orange being the wiper path and red being where they park.

If you move the wiper arms, you get this:

Agree on relay...if it closes too quickly it will not time correctly

Default It is basically just a timer afterall.. thus my initial thought.. I'd at least try a different relay

first, to rule it out.
