I had this rack from my A4, which I used for the last two snow seasons. Now that I have an Avant, I need new "feet" and can't make use of the fairing any longer. Therefore, I'm considering selling the entire rack as a whole and just buying a new one for the Avant.

I'll sell it for $250, but really only want to entertain offers in the Northeast that I can hand deliver to. I travel between Danbury, CT and Boston, MA, and I'd be willing to drive half way to anywhere from Boston, if appropriate.

Here's the parts that I have:
Qtowers - the large "feet"
Q72 - the clip that fits the A4/S4 sedan that goes into the Qtower.
48" refers to the length of the pair of cross bars
Big PowderHound holds 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards
38" refers to the fairing
6-pack of locks lock rack to car and lock BigPowerderhound shut.

If you don't mind my asking, why don't you just buy the Qtowers for $50?

price and just buy a complete replacement. Also, I kinda want to buy a new rack for the new car - she doesn't want her older brother's hand-me-downs - otherwise she gets moody ;-)
