Default semi-urgent assistance PLEASE --> Dropping the front subframe to remove lower Control Arm Bolt

I need to drop the subframe to get the bolt out, but how do I do it? I've removed all the blots that I thought link the subframe to the frame but doesn't look like it's budging. Do I need to do both sides??

HELP!

Default Are the jackstands under the frame?

Did you take off the plate on the rear?

Default Yes, you need to do both sides. You won't be able to twist it enough with the other side...

still firmly bolted up.. Be REALLY careful here, keep a jack stand under the subframe, to catch it.. It's not like it's going to just fall on you.. you actually have to pull it down to get the bolt out.

Jackstands are at the jack points on the sides of the car, Jack is under the subframe to catch it

Default OK, what Kris said.

Looking up under the car, if you are laying on your back, there are two plates on the rear contact points that need to come out, both left and right.

I stil;l had to pry the subframe down after takinig out all the bolts.

Default Great timing on this post, I had the same Q

for when I do mine. Appears you have to unbolt the trianges(alu) as well as the subframe mounting bolt on both sides and support it. A+ post.
