Default Connector is two pin gray connector on firewall on drivers side near coolant reservoir and...

it goes into the side of the transmission housing next to where the engine and transmission come together.

Default another question.....

thanks for you help...
i posted a thread earlier, would that cause this problem? or a bad ecu? here's the thread:
01 a4 1.8t x-chip, the whole morning my car was running perfect, driving home through the canyons, pushing the car, hard turns, was fine.
all of a sudden car stalls, epc light and cel blinks, rpms drops to 0, no throttle, engine oil pressure blinks, but car is still on, lights, instrument cluster on everything, just no power, like the engine went to sleep on me. then everything comes back to normal, drives perfect no cel nothing. it does it on and off till i get off the canyon, then problem hasn't came back on since then????
any help would be great, thanks, pj

Default It sounds like your engine is shutting off, but the key is still in on posistion and then the engine

starts up again. If that is the case then I would suspect your ignition switch for sure.
