Separating wheel bearing housing and cv joint - replacing outer CV boot
I am in the middle of replacing outer CV boot. I want to use Rob Andrew's way (replace the boot without removing the shaft).
I got the upper link disconnected, the collar bolt removed. I thought the wheel bearing housing would just swing out of the way, but it is still attached tightly to the CV joint.
How do I separate them? HELP!!!
