Default i am painting the door completely..i took the jump, what to do with the rubber?

hmmm? where are those shorter metal sills found without the rubber sticking out? anyone wanna trade, i got s4 ones with rubber stuff sticking out for the metal shorter ones....or? mod the ones i have? help.

Default what did you do to them?

im not looking at my car now, but can what you did to your a4 ones, be done to my s4 sill plates? or are your just differemt factory ones?

Default is there rubber showing about 1/4" or what did you do?

mine come out a tiny but undeer the door, what did you do. i have seen nowm someone using a metal sill plate which doesnt come completely out. can i mod my sill plates so they wont show, or once i put my abt side skirts on it wont really matter? my car is black, but would rather not have that stupid rubber flap showing if ya know what i mean...

Default without the sills how do you protect skirts top from getting scratched?

something should be over it...
