Shocks to be replaced at 45K. Has anyone else needed this to be done before 50K?

For the average driver, they may be soft at 50K, but they shouldn't be dead.

They are very "bouncy". I am getting the SRS springs with Bilsteins to test.

Default I had one replaced at 6K miles when I first got my 97 A4 2.8QM
