Should dealer fix squealing brakes under warranty?

I took my car to the dealer today and when I told them my brakes are squealing (pretty badly), they said that they are designed to squeak under low braking pressure, which I assume was to imply that if that's all they find, they're not going to fix anything. The more I think about it, though, the more it seems unacceptable that my warrantied car have brakes that squeak loudly enough to be a bother. What do you all think?
Thanks.

but in reality brakes do just squeak, it sucks, mine do it too. I believe that audi will do nothing about the problem as they have literarture sitting in my service centers office that explains that brakes do and will squeak.
