Default Who ever is seriously interested please email me

justindcady *at* gmail *dot* com

We're still currently in the "let's see if this really works" prototype stage. So far, I've only gotten to play with the old MH-style Torsen, which is still a direct swap into a B5. When I take mine out of my '01 I'll have seen both types, and will be able to service any Torsen Center out of any Audi (not sure about the new style 40/60 static split yet).

...and get me a diff to mod....unless you don't mind putting one in your car that has at least 125k miles on it and came out of an early-90's Audi 80...

Default if you put it back together correctly that won't happen....

Torsen provides timing specs for the side-gears for a reason.... hehe

Default The supplier (hint: $550 + core) of the modified differential denies any culpability...

blamed it on failure of the OEM parts. All three side gears in the rear were split lengthwise after about six months on my supercharged 2.8 and took out the Torsen housing when they failed. Not pretty.

Default wow...that's interesting....

from what I've found...if you mess the timing up...it WILL NOT want to turn...nevermind the fact that the side gears won't even line up to slide the axles into place. Makes you wonder how it was fuxored... These aren't exactly made of glass.
