Default should i get an aligment before putting on new wheels or after

my rear alignment is not doing too great

and my steering wheel is not exactly straight - i think it bears a little right going straight - it kinda of annoys me - how do i go about it getting straighten out

put on your least favorite wheels. alignments are done by clamping the device to each wheel.

Default eh...only if you take it to some shady mech. The proper way to do it

would be to put on the wheels you are planning on running most with, so that you have a set ride height, and make sure the alignment shop uses the nylon adapters on the heads. If they are using the(default)steel/alum. ones, there probably will be at least a little scratch. Nylon heads shouldn't cause any damage whatsoever. These places deal with factory chrome and/or mag wheels don't they? Yours shouldn't be too much different.

honestly, the only time I left with scratches was from the free dealer alignments.

Default Doesn't matter, alignment good with 14" is good with 21", unless you are

concerned with wheel damage from the alignment heads

well i am getting lifetime alighment so i might as well do it once before and once after

do it before get new tires, no reason to subject new tires to crappy alignment.

put the new stuff on, then get the alignment.
