Should I get my new A4 with the sports package or get an aftermarket one?

i'm now finally getting a set of coilovers after 2.5 years riding on stock sport.
here are a few things i considered before i ordered my car...
if you do order w/o sport you'll probably want to lower it fairly soon after purchase. right?
1/ have you decided on wheels yet?
2/ which suspension package?
those 2 decisions will take longer than you think. hehe
3/ into wintersports? plan on buying snow tires? the stock sport wheesl are great for winter use. or are the stock non sports fine?
if you already know which wheels, suspension kit to buy and have the cash to blow .. then go for it i say. otherwise .. spend some time with the stock sport setup. moding the car in phases is more fun in my opinion. makes the "new" last longer. =)

Front/Rear sway bars
Larger wheels (are the 16s or 17s fine?)
Suspension
Sport steering wheel (it was not included according to my salesman without the sport package)
I think it's definitely worth the $500

I've got a 2001.5 Avant tqms, and I'm very fond of the 17"-nine-spoke, 225/45,
20mm-lowered factory sport setup on that car.
I *don't* want a super-low ride height. I've got a nasty driveway entry angle to
clear every day, and I'm on unpaved roads fairly frequently.
But if you want *very* low and/or *very* stiff, and/or it's very important to you
for your car to look different, it's obviously pretty silly
to get factory sport.
