Default shouldnt i be able to find a skinnier snow tire less than a 225/17/45?.......

this is for a set of celebrations.
i was hoping to find a hancook or anything snow/high performance
in a 205/45 or 50/17..
all i find is 225/45/17.. same width as my 18's but with a good
snow tread.. i think i want skinnier.
this is my first set of snow tires on a car as compared to a truck.
anyone speak up?

thanks.

Default if i'm not mistaken..

bridgestone blizzak LM-25 is a 205/45hr17.. and.. Pirelli winter 240 Snowsport is another in that size. You may not have luck with hankook. But i'll stand by the blizzaks.. kept my mom on the road for 4 years in the yukon (on a 96 pontiac grand prix)
