Looking for expert opinions and Pic's of an aftermarket shift *****. I have the stock black leather. I'm thinking about something different.
Looking for information on those like the UUC Rob ****: Questions I have are:
Do the metal ones get way too hot/cold? Do "weighed" ***** make shifting smoother?
What about wooden *****?
(There has to be a joke somewhere in that last sentence)

Do they get super hot or cold due to their metal content?

Does the fact that they are "weighted" make a difference when shifting?

The lower metal gets way hot if its in the sun long enough.

though you could argue that is subjective... but most people on here drive A4s for thier subjective appeal in the first place. if you just wanted function, you'd drive a scooby.

That metal plate (or at least it looks metal) around your shifter, is that stock or after market? If it's after market where can I get it? Thanks.
