Idea....

Sorry if this seems a little basic, but how about a compression test? How about removing the #2 plug to see if it's wet (If not, gas isn't getting to the cyl.)How about swapping plug wires? I only saw the the packs and the plugs were swapped. If you're going to all that trouble, how about all new plugs anyway? I know you did some logical and reasonably advanced diagnostics, so you seem to have a god deal of savvy, but I'm pointing out a few things I might have overlooked in your position.
