So i just picked up a B5. Looks like the guy had put above max brake fluid in the reservoir. Is it acceptable for me to just open the cap up and siphon out the excess fluid?
I'm assuming no since it will introduce air into the brake fluid. But it would be nice and easy...
Thanks.

but, being slightly above is fine. it'll only go down as you use up your brake pads.
flush every 2 years or earlier.
a Motive brake bleeder is great investment.<ul><li><a href="http://www.germanautoparts.com/tools">http://www.germanautoparts.com/tools</a</li></ul>
