Is it going to freeze? If not don't worry about, wait for the G12+

Default Go pickup some Prestone Orange G-05 it will be fine.

About 1/2 the price and about 1000 times more easy to find.

Default According to Audi Junkie, it's better anyway.

Teh G05 Benz stuff is supposedly more gentle than G12.

Default I don't have one, other than I like using what Audi says to use...

Though even they changed horses in the middle of the stream, switching to G12+, which according to Audi Junkie is more similar to the MB stuff than the old G12.

I don't think the Orange Prestone is G-05, only Xerex is.The Prestone Orange is supposedly very good

Default The way I see it is there is/was a problem w/G-12.Bear in mind MB cooling parts are the same as Audi

MB not only uses the lightly silicated G-05, along with BMW, Chrysler, John Deere and soe others, but MB puts a sack of silicates in the coolant tank to replenish silicates as they are depleted. Another problem w/G-12 is the plasticizer 2-EHA. Yes, a plasticizer that Asian mfgs specificly ban from their phosphate coolant formulas. Good-bye radiator seams.
