Since when can VW not service Audis?

By service I mean align.. the guy even went as far as to say "I'm not sure we even have the right tools" :-x

they probally could but didnt want to.

well they should have been able to do it because the passat uses the a6 platform. however they have made the split (vw/audi). your a4 requires a jig that moves the subframe that some dealers might not have.

i should replace the badges with "Passat 4motion" ones and see if that looks more familiar to them

Find a dealer that knows something about the cars it sells/services.

They have the equipment

4 link is 4 link. If they don't want to service Audis, that is their own choice.

AoA recently changed their dealership locator... right now it's showing only 3 dealerships in my....

area... it used to be 10+... ???

The real question should be WHY would you even consider taking your Audi to a VW dealer?

If your car is out of warranty, there is no reason to even go to an Audi dealership, let alone a VW dealer. Considering Audi/VW's reputation for poor service, I would not trust my car with a VW dealership except in an absolute emergency.

Find a good independent shop to do your alignment.
