since when come the vw solar chargers with an obd2 connector to charge the battery?

Been thinking about getting a solar charger from Harbor Freight ($15) and then installing it on the top side of the sunroof shade (and hardwiring it to the electrical system). It'd come in handy when my car's parked at the airport for week in the middle of winter.

$25 buy it now, was gone in 30 seconds. There should be thousands of these things lying around since every vehicle VAG sends from the Motherland has one for the trip.
