i know there isn't a kit, i thought about doing this about 3 years ago but decided not to. i am a pretty good mechanic and i think that with a little help from people like yourself i should be able to do this.

you will probably have spent enough to buy a pretty clean stock S4.

the only way to do a single turbo setup is to do a remote turbo mounted in the place of the resonator or the muffler. The issue becomes all the piping necessary to move air from back there to the engine. There are universal remote turbo kits out there that'll give you a head start or you can build one from scratch. Just keep in mind that whatever you spend on the hardware you're likely to spend twice ot three times that on tuning before it will run right.
If you plan on pushing more then 10 psi you'll definately need forged low compression pistons. You can have them custom made through flatlander racing. As far as rods go you don't need aftermarket rods until you're in the 400+hp territory. There are several companies making forged lightened rods, I got mine from 034 motorsports. Also, seriously consider an intercooler setup if you plan to push any real boost. Good luck.

There are 2 people in the middle of this I beleive and I who's just about done on AZ. You also may want to look at what Derek (Deb38) is doing with his S4 (single turbo setup, basically exactly what you want to do).
