Just kidding about the PK thing, but, JEEZ gang! I've been without DSL due to the Northpoint Chapter 11 for a while now, and when I finally have a temporary solution the first thing I wanted to do was check up on my buds at AW. I feel like I walked into a slaugherhouse! Blood and guts everywhere. I'm not leaving or threatening to leave, I'm just a little stunned, that's all. At any rate, I've commissioned a new sig in the interest in lightening the mood a little around here. Now if we can all just have a round of "Koombayah" (sp???) and take a deep breath, we'll be fine. Damn I missed this place!

Anyone ever wonder if these spats of nastiness coincide with moon cycles or anything? I'm going to start tracking this stuff...

I quit going there a long time ago after, for the first time in my life, one of their pics actually made me queasy. I'm pretty desensitized, but there was a pic of this dude from a motorcycle accident that was truly horrifying. I'm not even going to describe it. At any rate, when I saw that you linked it, I decided to go anyways, and when I clicked on the "Final Taboo #1" I happened to be listening to the Stand By Me soundtrack. The song was "Whispering Bells" by The Del Vikings. The chorus line? "...bring my baby back to me..." The picture under Final Taboo #1? A man with a baby on a plate. The irony was enought that I paused to absorb it, then made a mental note to NEVER go back to that site again. My goodness, how things can mess with your mind!
