basically what the title says.. Tiptronic in Auto mode, almost feels like the car is shifting into 3rd gear, but not quite. does not do it while in tiptronic mode. I would consider the transmission slipping but the engine actually hesitates for a second when this happens so it almost seems like a problem in the programming. also, this only happens when i am not giving the car much gas (auto will shift at 2-2.5k depending on gear with this amount of gas).. if i give the car a decent amount of gas this does not happen.

i am usually fairly good at diagnosing problems and happening only in one gear would normally dictate a transmission problem. however that would not explain why this does not happen while in tiptronic mode or how it only happens while giving a small amount of gas, or even why the engine actually hesitates when this happens.. any ideas?

its just the crappy tiptronic...i hate mine.
