Default Small coolant leak from back of block, common issue?

It's on the rear of the engine, back of the block by the firewall, on the side with the spark plugs.

Can't quite pinpoint it but I see drops of coolant on the trans below so i know it's leaking. What are the common issues that this might be attributed too?

Can't get a pic or see it with a mirror even due to the firewall =\

have you checked your oil lately for coolant? Could be a bad head gasket

Default How do you get from a leak at the back of the block to blown head gasket?

Talk about blowing things completely out of proportion....

Canon...take a look at the FAQ, it should list details about common coolant leaks near the firewall.

I thought I had a blown Head gasket before, but it was just the oil cooler. Replaced that already

I checked the coolant sensor doesn't look like the leak is from there, more on the block

Default Most common is the coolant flange on the back of the head.

Either a leaky o-ring seal, or a crack in the plastic.
