That 15 bhp improvement claim is for a large V8 that's already producing close to 800 bhp. So, not quite the huge gain that's implied. Feh, that could just be due to the change in the compression ratio (perhaps these plugs occupy more volume?)
Also, it sounds like they're taking stock plugs and welding a piece on; I'm sure it won't be a problem if it happens to fall off into the cylinder...

enough sound wave to further atomize the liquid fuel without taking energy away from the spark?
maybe if it's significantly atomized one would not need as much of a spake to ignite the Air-Fuel mixture.
also not sure how much electrical current they can handle.
