Default SPP sells a ported/polished manifold. ECS sells manifolds for transverse engines.

ATP sells manifolds iirc.

Default If you search around for "spp manifold" in the a4 forum you'll find some thoughts...

I know that mike (audi2ptzero) had posted some thoughts about the k04 kit using the spp manifold... i am pretty sure someone else recently ordered the spp manifold too... mmart959303494589040 perhaps?

Default SPP manifolds ARE USED STOCK MANIFOLDS, i thought of buying one of them....

when i found out my manifold had a crack in it, but i realize that the manifold you get is a used manifold that they weld back together and resell.
It's not that great a deal. The core charge is just as much as a brand new manifold.
I would just pay the 600 for a NEW ported manifold from someone else. I've seen them from 600-800.

Just food for thought.

Default i dunno...$750 is alot for a spiffed-up stock exhaust manifold.

Default There is a cheaper one out there, i can't remember the site,

but i found one when i was looking for an alternative to buying a new stock manifold.
I do agree with you though, $700 is ridiculous for a "spiffed up" stock manifold.
