Default sucks for him. refer him to a mechanic, but I wouldnt recommend getting involved.

by doing so I would imagine you would take on some liability.

cold weather + not letting car warm up (=super high oil pressure) = blown turbos (ask me how i know)

sounds like he blew the turbo. not really your problem. car is sold to him.

Default Stay away. I had the same thing happen with my A4.

It was a 2.8Q supercharged, guy calls me a couple weeks later to say there is something wrong with the car, I told him to go to CPT or check on a couple forums and post questions there.

He test drove it both with me in the car and with me not in the car over a period of 2 days, I know the car was in perfect working order before I sold it, I always maintained it properly and took it for inspection a week before I sold it.

I know that he took the car out in the summer heat and beat on it for a few days and didn't maintain it properly. I had taken my car to the track as well as on many road trips and had no issues.

IF you properly maintained your car and have no guilt of the condition you sold it in, tell him to take it to a good mechanic.
