Default so does the number of prongs on a spark plug effect combustion completion?

i.e. 3 prongs is better than 1?

how about resistance to the spark blowing out?

just wondering.

Default 3-prongs = 3 times the powah of a 1-prong!

Right? ;-)

Default A 3 prong just allows the spark to have 3 paths so it can take the one with the

least resistance. If the pressure in the cylinder is to great for the gap it wont really matter how many prongs the spark plug has.

Default pressure in the chamber shouldnt have anything to do with spark propagation...

i think i may go back to 3 prong bosch plugs after this next set.

Default Blow out is caused by too much pressure, this happens when very high boost is ran

with too much gap. Thing is that when you increase the gap the voltage is also increased.

I have used both 3 and 1 prong plugs and haven't really found a difference between the 2. Only thing that you might get is a little longer use out of the 3 prong.

Default 2. the dynamics of the chamber and flame speed determine the real combustion properties

maximizing the ignition area has some impact though. Thus a larger gap will cause a larger/longer spark to ignite the mixture.

Default it isnt blow it, it is just increases resistance between the prongs due to the higher density of air

V=IR

too much gap = more resistance
voltage is a fall out
