STFA, and seemed to get mixed comments. Some say its normal, some say its not normal for a car w/ open diffs to do that, although I thought at low speeds the car had electronically locking differentials, so I suppose it could be normal.

My car has ~90K mi, 1.8T Quattro Tip if that makes any difference.

Do new (torsen equipped) audi's do this as well, or is it something that occurs w/ age?

Is there something I can do to reduce this shudder and/or cure it if its not normal?

One has EDL, the others had manual rear lock.

Normal. As long as it's just "there" and not an "OMG, what was that?" thing you're fine.
