So a guy i know is getting a k04 put in soon and he has
GIAC, 5bar FPR, 710n, a test pipe 3" and the k04 is going in soon. What is the feelings of you guys on running stock exhaust?

I ran my k04 on stock exhaust for about a week
I could defiantly hear and feel the difference with the k04. Spooled faster, was waaay more responsive. It's like making your self breathe through a straw. Yes, it can be done but it has no benefit.

I'm running a K04 on K03 software for another week. For me the car is
running very strong. I can't tell that its having any issues. I have read about people saying that bigger exhausts spool the turbo quicker, and while I do believe that, my car spools fast too. I have a Tip and have shown several people that from a dead stop, I get full boost in about 15 feet of travel. I don't think my K03 did that, but I never really did the test. When I decide to go with a bigger exhaust, I'll try a similar test. For now, the car has plenty of power, and seems to be running flawlessly.

Yes exhaust will be my next mod after I get the K04 software installed. K04 even on K03 software feels stronger than I expected. Can't wait to get the chip.
