I asked the question before and no one knew enough to help since the TT indash cd player only came out in 2002. It would be great if it were a plug n play issue with my tape deck in my 99.5 A4 with none bose.

if the TT cd player is bose will it still work with my stock system?

True true, my issue is that I do not have a bose system and I am not about to convert my radio system to the cd/tape combo set. I would assume that the indash cd player on the TT is bose, I do not remember now when I saw it, but I am leaning towards the feeling that since the schematics of the two radios are almost identical, (post in the audio forum) that the TT radio will control my cd player.
This would be a perfect swap then.

A couple people on the forum have, do a search. I believe the in dash comes in bose and non bose.
