So honestly, what's the difference between Drilled and Slotted Brakes?

and drilled are prone to cracking

from my experience, X-drilled crack and warp as the slotted ones seem to work fine and last.

Other way around for me. Slotted ATEs warped, X-Zimmerman still perfect.

Default And myth spreading continues....

I've never heard anyone complain of slotted rotors "destroying" or eating up pads. Maybe I just missed the posts or they're not speaking up. And as for drilled rotors cracking....I would say only under the most extreme racing conditions. Ever seen a street-car crack cross-drilled rotors? Me either.

These myths have trickled down from incidents that have occurred with race cars.....and now are suddenly be applied to street cars. I don't buy any performance increase in these two types of rotors either (especially on the street)....as far as I'm concerned it's just for looks. .02...
