I just got my VAG-COM tool and software the other day and started to play around a bit. For cars with the self leveling headlights, you can aim the head lights (up and down), with the VAG tool by accessing the headlight range control module. This is neat. I was able to adjust the beam up a bit. I'll wait and see if anyone flashes flashes back at me but I had my friend check and my lights were not in his eyes. Also, I did check the beam against a wall for reference and did go for a little drive last night.

As I was looking around the module, according to the Bentley the coding for the A4Q should be set to 00004 but was set as 00012. I don't know what the 12 is for. I set the thing to 00004 and I'll see if I notice any difference. I wonder if the 12 is for cars with the sports suspension or something. Anyone know.

If you need me to describe more on how to do what I did, I'll write up a little faq or something.
