So I got my master key from Audi a few min ago . . . It wont fit in the ignish.

Default So I got my master key from Audi a few min ago . . . It wont fit in the ignish.
Yeah, It opens the doors, it opens the trunk, but the ignition seems gummy and it wont go all the way in the ignition.

Any Ideas?

Its cold I was thinking about getting a hair dryer on it for about a min to warm things up.
Also sprayed the key with WD40 to try to make it slide a bit better.

Anything else I should try?

Is what I am planning on trying a good idea?

Default When I had my spare switchblade cut at the VW dealer, they said to bring it back if it sticks...
Sounds like they can do some tweaking. Give em a call and see if they can do it.

Default that could mean the ignition cyl has been replaced
or the key wasnt cut deep enough... or perhaps if the ign cyl was replaced it wasnt cut perfectly.

Default Hmm, So is the Key thing bad two or just the cyl?
I will go back tonight to see if they can deepen it a bit.
