So I put new rotors and pads over the weekend, pretty easy to do

Did you check to see if you could have the rotors turned?
Not that you probably want to use them again for the track, but you might make $25 or so on a set of turned, clean front OEM rotors, if they are within wear tolerances...

thought about that but they have 54k miles on them and 2 track days
Not sure how much wear is on them compared to what the spec is but the lip around the edge is quite big
