Default both are yellowish brown goop

the diff fluid will come out of the propshaft seal not the axle seals.

Axle seals are trans fluid.

Default I mean how many liters will I have to buy since the fluid has to be drained?

Should I also reuse fluid? The tranny fluid has only ~6000 miles

Default I don't get it, If the axle is unbolted and seal removed won't the fluid spill out?

Or is it slow enough that your saying there isn't going to be much fluid lost?

Default argh.... there is an oil pump in the 01V tranny

the sump at the bottom of the trans is where the oil rests when the gearbox is not operating. Sure residual oil will be everywhere in the 01V but its not going to be pumping so the amount lost wont be that great.

Default Don't reuse fluid

There are usually stray particles that the magnet in the bottom of the pan didn't catch and if you drain it, you may as well just replace it.

On fluid and filter changes on the Tiptronic boxes that I have done, its usually 5 bottles of tranny fluid, sometimes 1 or 2 bottles more....depends on how much was left in the filling tool from the last job it was used for.
