So I will be getting a SMIC, anyone use a fan?
<center><img src="http://www.atsracing.net/fanshroud5.jpg"></center><p>I did a search here and didn't see anything. Others elsewhere have done this. It makes sense for city driving. You get a pull fan so it mounts on the back depending on the room available. Attach a thermo switch or manual switch.

there was a post 3-4 years ago.....
claimed he only got 3 mph air flow over the core with a pusher fan. i doubt there's room for a puller fan on our cars with out relocating the ic. i think you will get more effect with an S4 liner, bumper and ic inlet ducting

i think that would only be effective if you were able to turn it off while moving...
either manually or with some sort of relay connected to some sensor which "knows" the car's moving.
reason being is, i believe that although the fan is pulling air through, despite its best efforts, once you are actually moving at higher speeds the fan may impede airflow.
