am I not getting the full grunt I paid for? Man, it sure feels like I am. The installer said it wasn't necessary. Opinions? Do I need to pop the chip out and pop it back in, then leave the ignition in the pre-start position for a few minutes? Any help appreciated.
BDW

I think you only need to do the adaptation if the board is new to the specific car. And if you want to do it anyway just leave the key in the pre-start position for 3 min, then turn the car off. That's all there is.

Ask Kelly @ Wett for another chip. Tell her you aren't sure you're getting the full 1 bar of boost. Specifically ask for one that goes up to 14.7 psi. There may be no difference. With a boost gauge it took them three tries before I got a chip that went to 1 bar when I floored it.
David
