Default don't be afraid to use big hammers...

you can get the lower balljoints free without the proper tool. I would expect the proper tool to make things easier though. Also you only have to the subframe on one side of the car. The other you can squeeze the lower control arm bolt out. Other then that most of it is pretty straightforward and Kris Hansen and BSK's writeups include almost everything you have to do. I would guess taking your time maybe 5-6 hours for control arms and tranny mount. First time is always the worst.

even with it they can be a PITA snap on air hammer works best lol

Default Take your time and don't expect it to go super easy

Load everything up with anti-sieze just to future proof yourself. The sledgehammer was my best friend during the CA replacement

Yeah, I was thinking of using a 10-15 lbs sledge myself.

Default I had quite an array of hammers. Just be careful of the fenders when you wacking away at something

Default I was planning on buying a cheap extension bar that I could fit onto the end of the bolt

so I could pound on that instead and clear the fender.
