Z06 were consistently faster at SCCA when I was watching yesterday.

sure, if you just want straight line speed. some of us put that behind other Audi characteristics.

Default the idea that american cars are good for simply straight line speed is a fallacy

but i bought an Audi for a reason, and it wasn't for speed-- no need to preach to the choir

however, the ease of tuning an american N/A V8... simple relative to this turbo stuff

make a list of each and I bet the domestic side is much shorter.

Default a list of each what? why has this turned into a import vs. domestic pissing contest?

obviously i'm not going to go give up my A4 for an f-body, mustang, or anything like that.

Default with giac it is giac related, you are making same power as say 18psi in 90f.

there is much much better software out there.

In the B5 forum there is a misconception giac is better. This may have been the case 5-6 years ago, but not now. If you look in other model forums you will notice people know giac sucks. this forum has archieves shows old giac files being better than competiters, maybe than but not now.

I love my MTM ko4, Revo is a little better than giac and APR should have ko4 files soon enough.

Good luck, your going to need it with giac.

Default Thanks... though SD rarely sees anything below 40F. 50F is about as cold as it gets here

unless it's the middle of the night, when I'm asleep anyhow

Default you're absolutely right; i'll fix it and be happy with it. if not, i'll go BT

so that i get a better ROI on my time invested

when I do pick up another American V8, it'll be an LT4 or LS6.

Default well I don't really have many options other than GIAC.

Revo doesn't tune for AEB, no MTM dealer around here, and APR's isn't out yet.

what kind of numbers did your MTM put down?
