i start her up and she idles ok for about 5 seconds. then, all of a sudden, her revs start *slowly* climbing up. i had my foot on the brake pedal, but was leaning out the door talking to someone off in the distance, so i'm thinking maybe i just have my foot somewhat on the gas too. well by the time i 'get back into my car' i look and i'm only on the brake, but by this time the revs are at around 3500, so i'm like wtf. i start pressing the gas to see what would happen, and the revs start falling and the car sputters a bit, much akin to if a hose had popped off the turbo, TB, IC crosspipe, etc. so i kill the ignition real quick and wait for about 10 seconds, then try to start her up again. starter is turning over fine, but motor will not engage. i'm cranking for like 5 seconds, then stop. then again for a bit then stop. so i pop the hood to see if there's anything blatantly wrong under there. i see nothing. so i start gently tapping my coilpacks (don't ask me why) with the handle of the flathead i used to take the motor cover off. well, i get back in and try to start it, nothing. try again, cranking cranking, nothing (and the battery's getting pretty weak now i might add). so just as i turn the key back from START i felt the car jiggle a bit. so i try one more time and albeit weakly, the car started up. i let it idle for about a minute, and revved it to see if anything would happen, everything was fine. i drove it for about a total of a half hour after that, and another park/start and no problems after that. this is the first time my car's ever done this, is this a telltale sign of something going bad? tia.
