So my car is faster, but 1-2nd don't seem much better, if any/

Default get a GIAC tip chip, Night and Day difference

quicker shifts, faster 1-2

im also a front track so i know from experiance

Default I disagree...

i didnt feel much difference at all with the tip chip than stock tcu

felt like maybe slightly faster shifts but nothing very noticable. I have even swapped my stock tcu back in a couple times to test it out and they feel almost exactly the same

Default have you used your VAG to reset the tiptronic computer?

Sometimes the learned behavior of the tiptronics can be a player in how quickly the car responds.

Default Do you mean "basic settings" for Tip? How do you do it? I looked everywhere

but couldn't find the procedure.

if its a 98.5 I dont think it will be the same code, mine is a 2000
