Default So my HVAC blower motor makes a high pitched squealing noise when the air is really cold

around 5 F or below. Goes away after awhile or when the temp is up.

Is this something I should replace the motor on or take it out, clean it up, and regrease it?

Default I read on the S4 forum that it can be cleaned/greased. Access is under the glovebox. IIRC

cannot confirm that, but mine is making a terrible noise too. I need ta fix it.

From what I can tell, drop the glove box and it's three bolts to pull it out. Laziness is winning...

Mine'll squeal every now and again. Adjusting fan speed does not affect noise.

Default Yeah, I elected not to replace it after reading what tehaudi said. It can't be that hard

to pull since it only pays like 0.7 to replace it.

Default Can you check booktime for me?

1996 Chevy Lumina (car) 3.1L

heater core

I've seen how to change it and it looks like a piece of cake but I'm wondering what booktime is on it.
