So the VVME kit finally arrived, and it sounds like there is sand in both ballasts.
Doesn't sound encouraging, but then I am told this is normal???

I just got the runaround from VVME...
...and am truly afraid at what might show up at my doorstep. I wanted 3000k H7s for my fogs, emailed for a price, paid per their instructions, then they came back with "we need $20 more to ship your item." They have finally honored their quoted price and I have a valid tracking number. Customer service was FAIL, but if the kit is decent it's still a steal!

had the same issues with one ballast having a sand leak... that ballast wouldnt ignite the bulb correctly. the bulb would flicker... the stuff was defective..

Yup....It looks like the bulbs will be too tall for my Hella Micro DE fogs.
I should just have bought the $700. Micro DE Driving Light HID Kit.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&url=%2Faccessories%2Fhella%2Fmicro_de_ xenon.jsp">LOL</a></li></ul>

I was kinda expecting a dud, but at their price it's a small risk considering how many kits work.
And I won't get worked up over it, even if it costs me another $35. It's still a deal.
