So what is a resonator exactly? How is it different than a muffler?
I am going to add a resonator to my custom exhaust and I want to get an idea of what it will do to the sound.
I love the sound of my exhaust about 80% of the time, but once in a while it's too much. Especially when you first start the car on really hot days.
Right now I have a 2.5" downpipe back system with a magnaflow straight through muffler, and I will add a magnaflow resonator.
