So when breaking in a new SB Stage 4 clutch can I "get on it" once in gear and clutch fully engaged?

Default So when breaking in a new SB Stage 4 clutch can I "get on it" once in gear and clutch fully engaged?

I have 120 miles on it of very much light duty around town and it feels GREAT! I love it, soooo much nicer than the stock clutch!

I *KNOW* I can not launch it, slip it or otherwise engage it hard at all till at minimum 500 miles, but what about for instance passing or the like?

I am finding it really hard to drive my Stage 3 with all the goodies and completely stay off the boost. ;-P I figure that the clutch has not seated in fully and even high boost/high HP-torque when it's fully engaged is a bad idea... or is it? How about easy engagement and them smooth easy but full power application?

Does my question make sense? It's been a long day. Tell me to drive easy and i *suppose* I can continue.... but she wants to run!

Default short answer is yes...but still ease into the throttle.

the torque spike is what will toast it. Regardless, if you have the Stage 4 with your set-up, then you should be fine. ;-)

Default Drive easy... a few "get on its" won't hurt once the clutch is engaged

the big issue is ever slipping it or grinding.

Other then that.. you can have a bit of fun. Always best to take it easy though.

I hope so, I COMPLETELY love it. So solid, it transformed the feel of the gear box.

Default And around it goes. ;) Paging Iamallrighty: Do you need more *stuff*?

I don't know if you saw my other posts but I can get more parts if we/you need them.

I may even be heading to that salvage yard very soon for other stuff.
