so i come out to my car the other day and find a dent right on my hood above the grill. the location and size make it impossible to pull out. its right in that curved area just above the grill and its a wierd shape. The body shop is going to have to fill it then paint the hood i assume. the question is, does anyone know how much its gunna cost me to get that done with painting and everything?? any info is appreciated.

I would reccomend a new hood..
To "fill" somethig like that isnt really reliable. In time, it will just lead to more problems. Get a new hood or rip apart the metal backing thats in that spot on the inside of he hood, bang it out with a hammer and then file/sand down the face untill its smooth.
I did this once with my A4 hood, got it all fixed to the point it was perfect. Sat it on he car to drive around to the front of the house and hit a bump. The hood flew off the car (I didnt have it bolted in to the hinges) and I ran it over- had to buy a new hood.
Its a real PITA to gut away all the backing of th hood. Its really thick stuff. I wouldnt reccomend getting it filled either. A new hood would cost 450-500 bucks.
