A few people were kind enough to send me part numbers/pictures for the replacement of the turn signal relay.

I just want to make sure that it is in fact the relay connected to the hazard light (the red triangle). The reason why I ask is because the hazard light itself works (i.e. when I push the triangle, all four turn lights start blinking).

If the part were defective, wouldn't the hazard light malfunction as well?

You just have to bend the contacts of the relay. It took me about a half hour to remove, take apart, repair, and put back together. Search and you'll find instructions.

replace the hazard light relay. I had problems, replaced the relay and no more issues.
