The doors are locked but no alarm led is lightning. I have to unlock the doors, put the key in the ignition turn it to the point I would put the engine on and then put the stick in D, put in P and doing all the things back, the alarm goes on when I lock the doors and the interior lights go off...
Why?
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks a lot in advance.

When you experience your problem does the bell ring when you open the door (like when you leave your lights on or key in the ignition)?
I've had a problem with the ignition switch and the contact switch which indicates the key is still installed. It sometimes doesn't close when I pull the key out. When this happens the interior lights do not turn on, the bell rings when you open the door and the alarm will not turn on. Listen for the click when you pull your key from the ignition. Spraying WD-40 in the key slot and working the key in and out a few times seems to repair it.
