Trivia: Guess what Nology Silver plugs really are?
Silverstone and Ultra spark plugs are manufactured by Beru of Germany for Nology Engineering..that is the centerstone to Nology plugs. It is a marketing scheme.

This is my opinion, take it for what it is...
Denso Iridium IK20 or Beru Ultra X UXF.56 is what I would use on your year/engine. I would not bother with Nology plugs. I had Beru Silverstone in my VW 1.8(non-turbo) before, not quite as smooth as the Ultra X IMHO.
